Eastside Tavern, Leeson Street, Dublin

An exhilarating blend of relaxation and funk are the hallmarks of this prominent bar, just off Dublin’s St Stephen’s Green. The design features exposed surfaces and a distinctly retro vibe, leading to a space that manages to be both cool and warm simultaneously.

Nestled just off St Stephen's Green, this prominent bar underwent a remarkable metamorphosis from  its previous incarnation as Madigan’s to a new and unique offering for the city of Dublin. The entire interior was stripped bare, and a new concept born and then delivered.

Key to the design was a concept that harmoniously fused a sense of relaxation with a firmly funky aesthetic. Practically that was delivered by exposed services and a retro but not old fashioned aura.

Tin tiles grace the bar fronts, industrial-style lighting dances alongside retro wall lights and floor lamps, plush velvet curtains provide a touch of luxury, while characterful exposed brick walls add depth. All harmoniously bathed in ambient lighting, resulting in an eclectic and inviting space that's truly one-of-a-kind.
