The design of this two-star Michelin restaurant is a result of a dogged pursuit of understated luxury. That design called for the incorporation of opulent finishes within a simple, classic palette, intended to create an ambiance that whispered sophistication and refinement.
The key challenge was the tight time frame allotted for the project, as minimising downtime was crucial to the restaurant's profitability. With budget constraints in mind, the design scheme was meticulously optimised, ensuring that every element and material chosen met both an aesthetic and a cost-effective criteria.
Because of time and budget constraints effective communication with stakeholders played a pivotal role in the project's success. Collaborative discussions and regular updates were essential to align everyone's expectations and ensure that the design concept was delivered within the established parameters.
Eastside Tavern, Leeson Street, Dublin
An exhilarating blend of relaxation and funk are the hallmarks of this prominent bar, just off Dublin’s St Stephen’s Green. The design features exposed surfaces and a distinctly retro vibe, leading to a space that manages to be both cool and warm simultaneously.
